My Story
Well, here goes. My name is Paul and here's my story. I was born in Cleveland,Ohio. I moved to Evanston, Illinois when I was 5 yrs. old. I started playing guitar when I was 7 yrs. old and took lessons from Robert Harris, the original guitarist on "The Tonight Show". Music and writing music are my passions. I play electric and acoustic guitars and have written about 35 songs over the years. Sports is another passion of mine, specifically Football and Baseball. I attended Evanston Township High School and played football and lacrosse for four yrs. I was very fortunate to have one of the greatest high school coaches ever in Murney Lazier. We were ranked #1 in the state all four years!! There was also some very talented players I played with that went on to NFL careers. One such player was Emery Moorehead who played for the '85 Bears. And yes I'm a die hard Bears and Cubs fan. Horse Racing is also a big interest of mine. I was a Thoroughbred Trainer for 18 yrs. What a rush!!! So the purpose of this website is to have discussions that concern music and sports, which I think in some strange way go hand in hand. I'm going to attempt to write a blog for the first time, so bear with me. I'm by no means a professional in any sense of the word. I just really enjoy these two subjects!! I would like for this to be something like a "bar talk with Paul" site. Nobody is right and nobody is wrong but we all have opinions that should be heard.
